From May 19 to 21, Zhang Shirong, General Manager of CECEP, together with Outside Directors Lin Wanli, Qi Guosheng, Li Yousheng, Zhou Hougui and Peng Bihong, conducted a research visit to the Group’s local enterprises and key projects in Zhenjiang, Yixing, Wuxi and Changzhou in Jiangsu Province.

The delegation visited CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang), CECEP Zhaosheng Environmental Protection, Jiangsu Sunera Technology and CECEP City Energy Conservation. They toured production workshops, research and development laboratories and project sites, held discussions with technical personnel, and exchanged views with company executives on strategic planning, production and operations, technological innovation, and Party building.

Zhang Shirong and the outside directors fully recognized the achievements made by the enterprises in recent years, noting that they had remained dedicated and pragmatic in project development, product research and development, and equipment manufacturing, thereby supporting the Group’s overall development through concrete actions. Regarding the next stage of development, the delegation called on the enterprises to implement the Group’s Year of Tackling Challenges initiatives and focus on five key areas. First, they should remain committed to their core businesses and, in line with the Group’s 15th Five-Year Plan arrangements, continue strengthening the energy conservation and environmental protection equipment manufacturing business while enhancing core competitiveness. Second, they should intensify market expansion by strengthening external resource acquisition and deepening internal collaboration to improve competitiveness across the entire industrial chain. Third, they should adhere to innovation-driven development by increasing investment in research and development, strengthening talent cultivation, leveraging artificial intelligence throughout the business value chain, and building differentiated advantages. Fourth, they should deepen lean management, continuously explore opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency, enhance operational quality and performance, and strengthen safety management throughout all stages of production and operations. Fifth, they should strengthen the enabling role of Party building, guide all employees to establish and practice a correct view of performance evaluation, promote the deep integration of Party building and business operations, and use high-quality Party building to drive high-quality corporate development.

During his stay in Jiangsu, Zhang Shirong also visited LeiYu (Jiangsu) Electrical Technolgy, a subsidiary of CNEPG, where he received a detailed briefing on the company’s production and operational performance.?
